  • Bridge Pose Or SetuBandhasana

Lie flat on your back with arms by your side. Bend your knees, spread your feet-hip width apart and touch your heels to your hips. Press your palms into the floor and lift your back, chest up off the floor.

Try to lift your upper body as high as possible. Clasp your fingers underneath your back. This pose improves digestion, controls high blood pressure and relieves symptoms of menopause in women.

  • Plough Pose or Halasana

Lie on your back and bring your knees close to your chest. Rest your hands on the floor beside your hips. Press your hands into the floor to raise your hips off the floor while your knees are still bent. Place your hands on the back for support and straighten your legs. Hold this pose for 2-3 breaths.

  • Half Spinal Twist Pose Or ArdhaMatsyendrasana

Sit on a yoga mat with legs stretched out in front of you, feet together and hands beside your hips. Bend your right leg and place the right foot close to the outer edge of the left thigh. Now, fold your left leg at the knee and locate the left foot close to the right hip.

Raise your left arm up and bring the elbow to the knee of the right leg. Try to hold the big toe of the right foot with your left hand. Rest your right hand on the ground. Turn your waist, neck, shoulders to your right and look over your right shoulder. This yoga pose tones the thigh muscles and improves digestion, allowing your body to digest food better.
